Notizie riportate sui giornali dell\u2019epoca. Una pioggia di frammenti caddero sulle cittadine di Johnstown, Milliken, Mead ed altre comunit\u00e0 circostanti, in Colorado.Furono recuperati 27 frammenti per un peso di 40,3kg. Classificata come \u201cDiogenite\u201d il cui corpo progenitore \u00e8 l\u2019asteroide Vesta. Delle 11 meteoriti di questo tipo viste cadere \u00e8 al 5\u00b0 posto per la massa recuperata. Meteorite \u201c CONDRITE H5\u201d Le condriti ordinarie di tipo H sono le pi\u00f9 comuni. Si ritiene abbiano avuto origine da tre asteroidi parentali i cui frammenti compongono rispettivamente i gruppi di: condriti H, condriti L e condriti LL. Il loro nome deriva dall\u2019abbondanza di ferro rispetto ad altre condriti. L\u2019elevata abbondanza di ferro \u00e8 di circa 25-31% in peso, in cui oltre met\u00e0 di questo \u00e8 presente in forma metallica, rendendo queste meteoriti fortemente magnetiche, nonostante l\u2019aspetto pietroso, presentato dalle meteoriti condriti che. I minerali pi\u00f9 abbondanti sono la Bronzite (un Ortopirosseno) e l\u2019Olivina . Caratteristico \u00e8 il contenuto di Fayallite dell\u2019Olivina, dal 16 al 20%. Contengono anche il 15-19% di metallo Ferro-Nichel e circa il 5% di Troilite. L&#8217;86% delle meteoriti cadute sulla Terra sono condriti. Prendono il loro nome dalle condrule presenti al loro interno. Le condrule sono sferule di minerali mafici con grani di piccole dimensioni, indicativi di un rapido raffreddamento. Le condriti hanno in genere un&#8217;et\u00e0 di 4,6 miliardi di anni (quindi risalenti alla formazione del sistema solare) e si ritiene che abbiano origine nella fascia principale degli asteroidi. Come esattamente si formino \u00e8 un argomento tuttora fortemente dibattuto tra gli class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Meteorite \u201cSIKHOTE-ALIN\u201d Caduta nel 1967 nei pressi della cittadina di Sikote Alin, nella Siberia Orientale. La pioggia meteoritica , dovuta all\u2019esplosione nell\u2019atmosfera del corpo cosmico, si disperse su una superficie ellittica molto ampia.\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Migliaia di frammenti, per un totale di 28 tonnellate di peso, sono stati raccolti e collezionati. E\u2019 classificata come \u201cmeteorite ferrosa appartenente al gruppo IIAB\u201d, con struttura ottaedrica, composta dal 93% di Ferro e 5,9% di Nichel, contiene inoltre percentuali di Cobalto, Zolfo, Fosforo e tracce di Germanio.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Meteorite\u201dTREYSA\u201d Vista casere il \u201c Aprile 1915 alle ore 15,30 nella foresta di Schalmstadt, vicino a Rommershausen, nella regione dell\u2019Assia, in Germania. Qualche mese dopo aver raccolto e analizzato i vari rapporti, il naturalista Alfred Wergener contribui ad organizzare una ricerca del bolide, incoraggiato dal fatto che apparentemente non si era rotto.<br><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Undici mesi dopo la caduta, fu trovato un buco di 1m di diametro, parzialmente ricoperto,<br>all\u2019interno del quale, ad una profondit\u00e0 di 1,6m venne scoperta la meteorite. La superficie<br>esterna era ricoperta di ruggine, ma la crosta di fusione aveva impedito agli effetti<br>corrosivi di penetrare all\u2019interno.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ed9f8f8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ed9f8f8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Come meteorite ferrosa, Treysa \u00e8 caratterizzata da abbondante Kamacite, Teanite e Plessite, accompagnati da Schreibersite e Troilite, come accessori. Magnetite e Wustite si trovano nella crosta di fusione. Treysa ha ricevuto attenzioni particolari poich\u00e9 la sua et\u00e0 di esposizione ai raggi cosmici (diverse centinaia di milioni di anni) \u00e8 stato uno dei primi indicatori che le meteoriti di ferro sono meno colpite dall\u2019erosione spaziale, rispetto a quelle di tipo pietroso, dal bombardamento delle micro meteoriti. Classificata come \u201cMeteorite di ferro, ottaedrite IIIAB-anomala, del peso di 63kg. L\u2019insieme delle 11 meteoriti ferrose IIIAB classificate \u00e8 da considerarsi come testimonial in quanto nel suo inventario di oligoelementi risulta uno strano contenuto di Irridio.
